What will you learn with this experience?

A PADI instructor conducts a brief orientation followed by your first underwater experience, where you will be allowed time to become comfortable with the equipment and breathing underwater. You will have the chance to experience the feeling of weightlessness whilst diving at a safe depth.

You will experience the thrill of diving and enjoy the many fishes to be seen in the shallow waters around Manta.

1st dive up to 6 meters:

Briefing on equipment they’ll be using: explaining risks of diving, breathing and equalization rules, aquatic life, limits of the programme…
Put on and adjust scuba equipment
Breathe underwater and swim around in shallow water
Tours in deeper water as appropriate

2nd dive up to 12 meters:

Practicing the following skills in shallow water with a PADI Instructor:

Breathing underwater
Regulator clearing and recovery
Mask clearing
Equalization techniques
Hand signals/underwater communication
Finally conduct the participants on a tour of the dive site.

PADI Open Water Diver course

Who should take this course?

If you’ve always wanted to do scuba diving, this is where it starts.
Get your first certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course.
To start PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course): Must be 10 years old or older. Need adequate swimming skills need to be in good physical health. Don´t need previous experience with scuba diving.

What will you learn?

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists in:

  • Knowledge development to learn and understand the principles of scuba diving

  • Confined Water Dives to learn scuba skills that will teach you to deal with the equipment and with the environment

What scuba gear will you use?

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank.

Next step: After you get your Open Water Diver Certificate, you can go further enrolling on the adventures in diving program and get the adventures in diving certificate or the Advanced Open Water Diver.

Who can do this course?

PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old may only participate in certain Adventure Dives. Check with us what are your possibilities.
An Adventure Diver only needs to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open WaterDiver certification.(they must do deep dive and underwater navigation)

PADI Rescue Diver course

​

The PADI Rescue Diver is described by scuba divers as the most challenging and rewarding course they’ve ever taken.

Learn how to prevent and manage problems in the water, develop your confidence as a diver, know that you can help others.

It is a very serius course but you will have loads of fun in between the focused learning.

PADI (Junior) Advanced Open Water Divers who are at least

12 years old and have completed the Underwater Navigation

Adventure Dive may enroll in a Rescue Diver course.

Also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months or you can get it during the rescue diver course.

You will learn:

  • How to deal with dive emergencies

  • Knowledge development and rescue exercises,

  • What to look for and how to respond.

You will practice your knowledge and skills During the rescue scenarios.

Love scuba diving? Take the PADI Divemaster course in Manta  and do scuba diving as a career.

The PADI Divemaster course is the first level of professional training.

You will work very close with a PADI Instructor and you will fine-tune your dive skills, refine your rescue skills to learn how to anticipate and easily solve common problems.

You’ll get more dive knowledge, management, and supervision abilities so you become the leader to divers everywhere.

As a PADI Divemaster, you will supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training.

PADI Rescue Divers who are at least 18 years old may enroll in the PADI Divemaster course.
What you need to become a PADI Divemaster:

Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.
A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
At least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to get certification.
